Med-Surg Lewis textbook

Just a reminder that since we aren't going to be using the Lewis textbook anymore that it is probably best if you sell it online ASAP. The best deals I have seen is selling it online to other people for around 60-70 dollars (before fees) or selling it directly to amazon.com for a 79 dollar amazon.com gift card (which I did).

I haven't checked the bookstore buyback prices but just giving everyone a heads up on other alternatives.

n4

okay, so i'm new to the whole blogging thing, but i just wanted to check in (just in case there's a chance) w/everyone about the possibility of switching n4 lecture to 1, 5-hour day as opposed to 2, 2.5 hour days. i know ms. wells says it probably won't happen, but i don't want to give up if there is any glimmer of hope... from the sounds of things, 67 out of 70 people were extremely interested in making this change. while i understand this makes for a longer day, for those of you who oppose this proposition, please consider your classmates. many of us have families, jobs, commute, etc. i recognize that we all made an investment in our future by deciding to pursue a degree/career in nursing, and at times, it seems like somewhat of a sacrifice. that being said, if there is any way to make things less challenging than they already are for the significant majority of the class, isn't it something to consider? i am not looking for an easy out or a lazy compromise, i just want to do what's best for the majority if it could make things less stressful in the long run. there is already enough stress and craziness with life, school, etc... why not try and simplify?? i truly believe it could positively effect my (and many other's) performance as a student, a nurse, and, most importantly, a human being! i know i'm a cheeseball and that i might be wasting my time. however, i needed to give it a shot so i don't feel like there was more i "could've done" to maintain my sanity. any thoughts??
